The work activities involved in this project were extensive and related to both the facade and the roof. The jointing was restored, brickwork germinated and lifting beams restored/painted. The wood decay in the window frames, windows and doors was removed or partial replacement was carried out after which new paintwork was carried out. The steel supporting structure of the balconies was de-rusted, restored and painted. In addition, the z/c screeds and balcony coating were replaced. As for the roof, the gutters were replaced and roof tiles and ridge tiles were rearranged and partly replaced. At the request of the Homeowners Association, BKT was responsible for tendering and commissioning the planned roof and facade maintenance, supervising the work activities and final delivery.
