The work activities involved in this project were extensive and related to both the facade and the roof. The jointing was restored and the roof beam and walls stirrups were painted. The wood decay in the window frames, windows and doors was removed and partial replacement and new paintwork was carried out. The roof tiles and ridge tiles were rearranged and partly replaced. In addition, the roof windows, lead flashing and expansion elements of the zinc gutters were also replaced. BKT was responsible for tendering and commissioning the planned roof and facade maintenance, supervising the work activities and final delivery.
